Delightful beachside stay
The breakfast spread was diverse, and the pool offered stunning views, allowing for perfect relaxation. Getting to know the friendly staff added a personal touch to our stay.
However, the walk to our room was quite challenging due to the steep incline. Additionally, while the room was well-furnished, there were some minor issues with maintenance that we encountered.

The views are fantastic, and the garden is well kept, giving it a unique, tranquil vibe. The hills offer a challenge but reward you with stunning views over the beach.
Rooms lack proper soundproofing, letting in every noise, and the presence of insects is notable, with previous guests even spotting snakes. The breakfast area is small, causing long waits for food that often appears to be running low, and the limited selection can be disappointing. Additionally, accessing the hotel involves steep climbs, which might not be manageable for families with young children or those not fit enough for the hike.

The spacious room offered lovely views and a comfortable bed, complemented by a delightful rain shower. Breakfast was varied and satisfying, featuring a selection of local cold cuts, which was a nice touch. However, the steep climbs to the rooms could be challenging for some, and the taxi boat prices were notably high. Additionally, the restaurant's evening menu didn't change much, which limited our dining options.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Cookies Salad Resort. The private cottage with sea view offered breathtaking views right from the room. Breakfast featured a variety of delicious options, especially warm food like eggs and fruit. The staff provided helpful service, assisting with local dining recommendations and any requests. Snorkeling was easily accessible from a nearby beach, making it a great activity during my stay. However, the steep walks to the cottage required stamina, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues. Also, the ants and geckos in the cottage were a bit of a nuisance, but this is somewhat expected when staying close to nature. Despite these inconveniences, I appreciated the overall charm of the resort. I'd definitely consider returning for the serene atmosphere and fantastic views.
